Livingat 1001 W University Ave.

Needless to say, we are in awe of this sisterhood and the people that make it a home. Our house has kept its foundation on Oklahoma State's campus since 1923, and it holds 66 of our members. Living at 1001 W. University Ave., the Zeta Castle or the "Zouse" is the experience of a lifetime. The ZTA house holds many names, many memories, and many stories, but the people who have filled this house over the past almost 100 years are the people that have made this place a home for the years to come.

These are a few of our favorite things about living in the zouse:

  • Chef's amazing meals

  • The closest walk to campus #locationlocationlocation !!!

  • Bachelor and football watch parties

  • Late night chats when we all pile into one room

  • Studying together in the office or blue study

  • Movie nights in the informal living room

  • Hanging out on the porch and sun deck

Meet the girl who Runs the Castle:

"As the Vice President of Facility Operations, I have the exciting role of helping our chapter make the most of our sisterhood while our house is under construction! My goal is to ensure that ZTA feels like home no matter where we are. It’s a fun and rewarding challenge and I’m so proud to be part of building something truly special for our sisters now and for the future!"

HOUSE MOM

Our mom away from home:

Our house mom, Laura Stafford, has 3 kids and 7 grandkids. But she also has almost 220 college women that she is passionate about taking care of. Laura's heart for serving others reaches far beyond ZTA; in her spare time she serves on the welcoming committee at Lifechurch here in Stillwater. At Zeta she works to keep our house in tip-top shape and our members feeling very loved. In a lot of ways our members feel as if she is like our mom away from home, as we have moved away and come to college. She provides us with help in many ways, from always being available to help us get more printer paper, to all the life chats that we get to have with her. She is constantly using her skills and gifts to make the world around her a better place.

“I do want all of you girls to know that I'm honored to be a part of your lives. Your time in college will be a time that will shape you.”
