The members of Alpha Upsilon have been in your shoes and we want to share some of the things we wish we knew when going through Panhellenic Recruitment.

"be completely openminded with the process and know that beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself."

"everything will come at the right time! if things get tough,  don't stress. trust the process."

"think about what is important to you and look for a house that embodies that."

"we are all a bit nervous. take a  deep breath and be yourself. it will all be okay in the end." 

"be your authentic self always."

"don't listen to anyone else's opinions of houses stereotypes.  do your thing!"

"look for a place that will Love all versions of you, not just the picture-perfect version."

"trust the process!you will end up exactly where you are supposed to be and you will love it!"

"seek community, not competition."

"look at the little things! Watch how girls interact in small passing Moments those are the real vibes."

"think of recruitment as getting coffee with a new friend, we want to see the real and goofy you."

"don't allow comparison to steal the  joy of your journey through this process." 

"you are so loved and so worthy do not tie your self worth to this process."

"make friends with the girls in your recruitment group, they will be your  first connection to osu!"

"look for a chapter that feels like home, becayse your sisters will become your  family."

"you are enough, worthy, and so loved. these are and always will be true about you."

"relax! these girls just want to get to know you! don't stress about being yourself!"

"look for the girls that make your soul feel  at rest. take a deep breath - it will feel just right."

"getting cut from your top house does not take away from your personal value, you are worthy of a beautiful life just as much as anyone else."

"enjoy every moment. the long days, the new friends and the soon to be  lifelong sisters."
